hey there! i'm conrad, a final-year mechatronics engineering (honours) student at the university of auckland. i specialise in computational modelling and dynamical systems simulation, and i'm drawn to quantitatively intensive work — modelling, optimisation, and research. i like building things that are rigorous under the hood and clear on the surface.
lately i've been building optimisation and predictive models as a digital modelling consultant at aurecon, simulating solar-sail spacecraft attitude dynamics in c++/opengl, and tinkering with robot localisation and control. outside of engineering you'll find me playing alto sax in jazz bands, on photography trips, in boutique cinemas, or losing to the nyt mini.
